How hospitals finance ventilators
More than half of the ventilators we finance are on a Critical Care Subscription, because the cost of a ventilator over its life is as much in service, circuits and software as in the unit itself. The rest are on fair-market-value leases, usually with the manufacturer’s service contract included in the payment.
Surge capacity
Subscriptions can add ventilators in blocks of two for a winter surge. We also hold a regional pool of transport and critical-care ventilators for clients, delivered within a day in most of the areas we serve.
Continuity Assurance
Ventilators can be enrolled in Continuity Assurance for reporting, which shows their location and maintenance status in the Client Center. Ventilators are never placed in service hold.
